What You'll Do

The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinator(QA/QC) is responsible for successful development and execution of the E2 Optics Quality Management System (QMS)to ensure the project is constructed in accordance to industry and customer standards. The QA/QC role includes planning, coordinating, collaborating and partnering with internal and external parties to support the successful execution within the framework of the E2 Optics QMS.

  • Responsible for providing Daily/ Weekly updates to the On-siteE2 Optics Run Ops Management team regarding all QA/QC issues and resolutions.
  • Technical writing-Ability to create and develop QA/QC installation and technical reference documents, standard operating procedures, inspections, and report documents as required to support the On-siteE2 Optics Run Ops team, and Data Center projects.
  • Coordinate and conduct quality inspections prioritized according to Data Center improvement activities represented in the P6 schedule.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities and support Lean initiatives within the QA/QC department to align with achieving corporate strategic goals.
  • This position is generally expected to require minimal overnight travel (5%) in certain regions, while will require frequent (50%) overnight and extended out-of-town travel in others. The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of field work experience in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.
  • First Aid/CPR trained(Within 90 days of hire)
  • OSHA-30 trained(Within 90 days of hire)
  • Fluke CCTT(Preferred)
  • Able to Read, write, and understand English.
  • Able to distinguish color codes

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
