What You'll Do

  • Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures. 
  • Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric culture. 
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for employee benefits programs, including group health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, accident and disability plans, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness offerings. 
  • Facilitate benefits orientations; provide clear instructions for benefits self-enrollment and assist with onboarding materials. 
  • Support employees during benefit enrollment periods, answer questions, and address concerns or issues related to their benefit selections. 
  • Maintain detailed records of benefits enrollment and changes, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. 
  • Assist with communication between employees, HR, and third-party vendors regarding benefit updates, claims, and eligibility. 
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to employee benefits. 
  • Other duties as required  

What We Are Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required.  
  • 1 year of experience in benefits administration or HR-related role. 
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, federal and state regulations, and compliance requirements. 
  • Proficiency with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skills.   
  • Working knowledge of employment/labor laws.  
  • Tactful, professional demeanor with ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, internal and external parties. 
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational, record-keeping, time management and follow-up skills. 
  • Must be a self-starter to act when issues, gaps or opportunities are identified. 
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, XMind, etc.)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position includes both indoor business office settings and construction environments. The noise level is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must also regularly carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet. The employee must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies), if required. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
